Collection: Winged Allegories

Symbolism and allegories have been the chosen language by countless artists throughout history to express messages, sometimes hidden, through painting. I find it fascinating how, through a still life, the author sought to speak to us about themes such as death or how certain objects accompanying a portrait could give us clues about the character of the model. Relying on this tradition, mixing birds from my native country, Peru (specifically from the coast) with different elements, I seek to convey my intuitions of intangible concepts that somehow, we all know.
