The first time I saw a blue tanager I was impressed by that serene blue hue. It reminded me of cinderella, the sleeping beauty, Pinocchio's blue fairy... of some ethereal kind-hearted character. To see that beautiful blue flying around before getting lost behind the branches of a tree inspired me to admire and dream.
